The Azerbaijan government has announced today a new regulation on the coronavirus (COVID-19) restricting traffic movement within Azerbaijan from March 19th through the 29th.
This has also restricted the movement of our local staff, including CROSS exchange engineers based in Azerbaijan, leaving an impact on our operations.
Due to the effect of the coronavirus, we have decided to postpone the originally scheduled March 20th (4PM UTC) “Trade Battle” to April 1st.
Change Details:
<Entry Period>
continued until 4/1/2020 3:59 UTC
<Trade Battle Period>
4/1/2020 4:00 ~ 5/1/2020 3:59 UTC
Postponement Reasoning
- Due to the effects of the coronavirus, travel restrictions have been placed within Azerbaijan on the 19th.
- Due to these travel restrictions, our staff cannot come work in the office.
- As a result of the telecommuting of our engineers, the connection to the server from outside the office can be limited, and if a system trouble occurs during the Trade Battle, immediate response would be very difficult. Due to this security vulnerability, the connection from the outside could be at risk of being cut off, so there is a possibility that the engineer's response would be delayed.
The date and time will be adjusted in order to ensure thorough development and a strong support system for the provision of our provided system and services.
With this postponement, we will strengthen the system of our in-house remote work to host a flawless Trade Battle.
We sincerely apologize to all who have been looking forward to this event and we thank you for your patience.
